Finance and Accounting Departments

Finance provides management and oversight for Accounting, Personnel and Management Information Services (MIS) Departments. It is also responsible for the direct supervision of the Pool's investing activities, internal audits, purchasing and graphic design and reproduction functions. The Finance Department's objective is to provide the most cost effective support services for Pool management and operations. This includes providing accurate and timely financial information to the Pool's Board of Directors and assisting Pool members with issues concerning contribution billings.

The primary goals of the Accounting Department are to provide excellent service to members and other departments, fiscal management over the assets of the Pool, management over the Pool's investment portfolio, and timely and useful information to the Board of Trustees, management, and members. Other goals of Accounting are to increase productivity, enhance analytical capabilities, expand insurance and investing expertise and improve communication and coordination between Accounting and other departments.
